Built by a marketer, not an agency operator.

Who we are

EightFive Media is a growth marketing agency for founder-led B2B companies. We were founded in 2021 in New Jersey, and we work with companies between $5M and $50M in revenue whose founders care about how their marketing represents them. We sell one productized retainer with two engagement levels. We don't pitch custom scopes, we don't sell à la carte services, and we don't take on clients we can't put on our website.

Nicholas White, Founder

Nicholas White, Founder of EightFive Media

Nick founded EightFive Media in 2021 after 13+ years across three sides of the marketing world. He spent more than seven years at Hunton Andrews Kurth, an Am Law 100 firm, learning the unforgiving standards of professional services marketing. He led marketing for Essex County College, where he ran growth campaigns for an institution serving over 10,000 students. As an independent consultant, he has worked across legal, education, consumer brands, and tech, including the current 40th anniversary campaign for Yla Eason and Sun-Man.

In addition to running the agency, Nick has built and shipped two iOS applications and is developing an AI-powered interview preparation product. He brings a builder's orientation to an industry dominated by service operators.

The agency name comes from a personal philosophy: most people clock out at five. Eight to five is the bare minimum. The work that builds something worth owning happens before, after, and in the margins. Every retainer EightFive Media sells has Nick in the room.

Who we work with

We work with founder-led B2B companies between $5M and $50M in revenue, typically 20 to 200 employees. Our clients fall into three categories: founder-led B2B services firms (consulting, accounting, advisory, technology services), mission-driven B2B SaaS companies between $1M and $10M in ARR, and heritage or legacy brands moving into B2B revenue lines.

The common thread is the founder. Every retainer we run has the founder visible in the marketing: on LinkedIn, in podcast interviews, in the content their team publishes. If a founder isn't willing to be the face of their company, we're not the right partner.

We don't work with companies under $5M in revenue, founders who won't show up in their own marketing, or buyers looking for hourly or à la carte work. Those aren't bad businesses. They're just not what this agency is built for.

Selected creative engagements

A small number of culturally significant brands and projects don't fit neatly into the B2B retainer model but are worth taking on for the work itself. We choose one or two of these per year. The Sun-Man 40th Anniversary Campaign for Yla Eason is the current example. These engagements are scoped as projects, not retainers, and we take them on selectively when the brand, the founder, and the work all align with what the agency stands for.

How we work

One offer, two engagement levels, six-month minimums. Monthly pipeline reports tied to actual leads and opportunities, not vanity metrics. Quarterly Business Reviews with founders and leadership stakeholders. We measure ourselves on retention because the agency model only works when clients stay.

We're remote-first, headquartered in New Jersey. We serve clients in the New York and New Jersey metro area today, with selective national engagements. Onboarding takes two weeks. By the end of the first month, the founder is posting on LinkedIn three to five times a week, the first content is in market, and the tracking infrastructure is live so we can show our work.
